There is so much to like about this property and this is why it is my go-to hotel when I am flying out of Montreal. I always stay at the Fairfield because of the dependability and excellence of their services and accommodations. The hotel is right next to the airport, so you don’t have to contend with Montreal traffic. They offer a free shuttle between the hotel and airport, but the shuttle will also drop you off at the VIA train station if you ask. The reception staff are always welcoming and ready to do anything to make your stay comfortable, which is very nice when you have been travelling for 15 hours. The rooms are large, impeccably clean, and comfortable. The beds are the best I haveI ever slept on, the sheets soft, and the pillows are perfect.The AC is very easy to program. I definitely recommend trying their breakfast (it can be included in the price of the room), which is always delicious and offers options for all types of dietary needs. The success of this hotel is due to the dedication, hard work, and excellence of its employees. From the reception staff to the cleaning staff, and the ladies in the breakfast room, these people are credit to the Marriott brand and I hope that management recognizes and appreciates this. I am already looking forward to my next stay.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable/helpful. Excellent location for accessing public transportation (bus depot). The shuttle to the airport was a great bonus. We had breakfast at the hotel during our stay and there were plenty of options. We ate dinner at the hotel on our last night and the food was very good, with good sized portions.

King Bed - very comfortable, TV - big LG, clear, easy to follow channel guide, good color, good lighting, good Wifi, plenty of accessible electrical outlets, soundproof windows, large windows, nice view of airport w/o hearing it. Cheery upscale room, very clean, solid door, secure locking, easy entry card - just tap. Upscale bathroom - I would like one at home this nice, quick hot water in shower & sink, good drains in shower & sink. Great mirror and lighting. Refrigerator. The restaurant at the hotel was very good. Hotel shuttle, 24/7 on the half hr.

The room was great with 2 double beds, spacious room. We chose the hotel because it has a shuttle bus to/from Montreal airport YUL and we had a connection flight next day. There was air conditioned gym and heated pool. Overall good hotel, very convenient location for the airport. Good breakfast, unless you have food intolerances. Kids loved bagels!

It was perfect - we landed late and left at 5 the next morning. I called in advance about the shuttle service and was so pleased when a human picked up the phone and promptly gave me all the info I needed. Super fast checkin which we appreciated at this late hour. Really good customer service. Clean and comfortable beds.

This facility was spotlessly clean and met all my expectations. Even though it was positioned adjacent to the VIA Rail line and the Montreal Airport, the rooms were soundproofed, and no outside noise was heard. We arrived late in the evening. The hotel had a shuttle to pick us up at the Dorval rail terminal in minutes. Upon arriving and after checking in, we enjoyed a delicious meal in the Mariott full-service restaurant. The following morning, their breakfast was complete and well presented. Each of the staff members we came in contact with was professional and kind. The hotel's airport shuttle runs on the half hour, and we were delivered to the airport quickly. Thank you, Marriott.

The gentleman who checked us in was excellent. He gave us a great welcome, was friendly and professional, and later on he responded immediately to a restaurant issue we were having. Having just arrived from the UK we were exhausted and in urgent need of drink, a light meal and a good nights sleep. Unfortunately your restaurant was full and the clearly overstretched staff were only able to offer the suggestion “come back in an hour”. They told us there wasn’t a booking system and that we would just have to trust to luck in an hour’s time. We met other hopeful diners who had been told the same thing. We understand that restaurants are likely to be full on Saturday evenings but the absence of a table booking system is, in your class of hotel, a disgrace. A table booking in an hour or so would have been normal and acceptable to us. “Try again later” - no thank you. In desperation we spoke to your colleague who checked us in and he immediately swung into action. We don’t know how he managed it but ten minutes later we were sitting in the Double Tree Hotel restaurant enjoying our drinks. In the heat of the moment I didn’t note the name of our saviour but please pass our sincere thanks to him. He saved the day for us by showing kindness, understanding and by taking the trouble to go the extra mile. We will be visiting our son and his family in Canada several times a year for as long as we are able to and your colleague’s actions have convinced us to make Fairfield Inn & Suites our first choice for future visits.

We loved the free shuttle from the train station and to the airport. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. I appreciated that even though we had to leave before the free breakfast started, they had a bowl of fruit, coffee, and some pastries out for us to grab on the way to the airport.
